Equipment Needed

• Primary Fermenter: Food-grade graduated plastic bucket (up to 25 L)
• Carboy: Glass or plastic carboy (holds 23 L, fits a fermentation lock and stopper)
• Racking Tube & Tubing: Flexible food-grade tubing with a rigid siphon rod and anti-sediment tip
• Fermentation Airlock & Stopper: Allows CO2 to escape, prevents oxygen and spoilage organisms from entering the wine
• Mixing Spoon: Food-grade plastic stirring utensil (70 cm length)
• Solid Bung: Fits carboy, prevents oxygen and spoilage organisms from entering once wine is fully degassed
• Hydrometer: Checks specific gravity at different fermentation stages
